With a robust background in mechanical and electrical engineering, Scott brings decades of experience and expertise to the mobility sector. Scott began his career in 1992 as an apprentice at David Browns, a renowned manufacturer specialising in gearbox testing and production for Challenger tanks, missile loading systems for military equipment, and gearboxes for the British Touring Car Championship.
In 2000, Scott transitioned to the mobility sector, taking on the role of Head Engineer for a national company. Recognising the need for a customer-focused, independent supplier, Scott started his business as an independent stairlift supplier in 2006. Under his leadership, the business quickly grew from a local operation to a respected national provider.
With 18 years of industry experience, Scott was approached by Trading Standards to act as a consultant, advising mobility businesses, disability charities, care homes, and mobility shops. Their commitment to quality, integrity, and accessibility has earned them a reputation as a trusted expert in the field.
