If your staircase is narrow or confined, you’re in the right place!
Narrow stairlifts are expertly designed for spaces where traditional models simply won’t fit. Whether you’re exploring solutions for yourself, a loved one, or simply gathering information for future needs, our team is here to offer professional advice and help you find a safe, cost-effective stairlift that meets your unique space requirements.
Taking proactive steps can greatly enhance mobility and independence, ensuring your home remains a secure and accessible environment for everyone.

Does Your Staircase Need a Narrow Stairlift?
Narrow stairlifts are specifically engineered for homes where space is at a premium. Unlike standard models, these stairlifts feature a compact design and streamlined track system that easily fits into tighter staircases and confined spaces. They’re an ideal solution for modern homes, apartments, or historic buildings where traditional stairlifts may not be feasible.
Key Benefits of Narrow Stairlifts
Space-Saving Design:
Their reduced footprint means that narrow stairlifts can be seamlessly integrated into homes with limited clearance. This allows you to maintain the existing look of your staircase without the need for extensive remodelling.
Ease of Installation:
Due to their compact nature, narrow stairlifts are generally easier and quicker to install. Many suppliers offer a free home survey to ensure that the chosen model fits perfectly, making the installation process smooth and hassle-free.
Safety and Comfort:
Despite their smaller size, narrow stairlifts do not compromise on safety. They come equipped with all the standard safety features such as secure safety belts, sensors, and padded seating. This ensures that users can move confidently and comfortably between floors.
How we survey a narrow stairlift

We take measurements in a seated position for:
– Distance between the knee to the wall
– Distance between the toe to the wall
Features to Consider
When shopping for a narrow stairlift, consider the following aspects:
- Customised Fit: Narrow stairlifts are often tailored to the specific dimensions of your staircase, ensuring a perfect fit even in the most challenging layouts.
- Enhanced Controls: Options like remote controls can add convenience by allowing users to summon the stairlift as needed or return it to its resting position effortlessly.
- Modern Safety Standards: Updated safety protocols ensure that the stairlift will only operate once all safety checks, like seatbelt fastening, are confirmed.
Is a Narrow Stairlift Right for Your Home?
If your staircase is compact or you’re dealing with architectural constraints that rule out larger models, a narrow stairlift might be the ideal choice. A free home survey can assess your staircase and guide you to the best solution, ensuring that the stairlift not only fits your space but also meets your specific mobility needs.
Navigating the world of stairlifts can feel overwhelming, especially when options are limited by space constraints. Our team of suppliers are here to help you understand your options, arrange a complimentary survey, and guide you through the installation process.
